Trudeau steps over the line one more time
Well, he just could not resist. Our prime minister just had to level his sanctimonius holier-than-thou judgment on the truck convoy as it headed to Ottawa. He said their beliefs were unacceptable.
The last time I looked, we Canadians still had the right to freedom of belief, freedom of expression and thus, freedom of speech. Certainly we have not reached the age of thought control as per George Orwell.
It would have been one thing to say he disagreed with the truckers, but it’s not his role to determine whether anyone’s thoughts are acceptable or not acceptable.
Not believing in vaccines may be wrong-headed but it’s not our right to dictate to anyone what to believe.

It's easy for politicians, they can spend what they want because somebody else will pay for it – the taxpayers.
Well done Merv & Marg
Nanaimo is still a good place, but the powers that be have let it run to ruin. This is sad to see.
i agree it is the volunteers in Nanaimo that make it such a wonderful place to live. I've lived all over B. C. and came back to Nanaimo to raise my kids and join the family business. Never any regret
Thank you Mr. Peckford for voicing concerns that many Canadians share, but remain silent.
