Artificial fame - fake Harry and Meaghan
“Celebrity worship and hero worship should not be confused. Yet we confuse them every day, and by so doing so we come dangerously close to depriving ourselves of all real models. We lose sight of the men and women who do not simply seem great because they are famous but who are famous because they are great. We come closer and closer to degrading all fame into notoriety.” – Author Daniel J Boorstin from his book Hidden History, page 287.
What a display of modern celebrity in all its falsity, political correctness and spoilness. (my new word).
Did you bother to watch it?
Breitbart News writer, Kurt Zendulka, opens up his article on the matter:
“Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry have been criticized for tone-deaf complaints about how tough their millionaire lifestyles have been – expressed in an interview with billionaire Oprah Winfrey.
“Prince Harry, who has frequently caught headlines for that signature woke hypocrisy – flying on private jets to attend change conferences – complained that he was reduced to signing multi-million production deals with Spotify and Netflix after the Royal Family “literally cut me off financially.”
“The grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, who decided to renounce his royal duties and start a new life in Hollywood, went on to complain that he has also been forced to pay for his own security detail, rather than it being footed by the British taxpayer as it was when he was performing a role in the constitutional and public life of the UK Royal family.”
They are so poor that they recently could only afford a $14-million house on 7.4 acres in the wealthy part of Santa Barbara – you know, where billionaire Oprah Winfrey lives. It has nine bedrooms and 16 bathrooms – 18,000 square feet.
It is reported that the spoiled Prince has accumulated over $40 million from the Royal Family.
The wedding cost the British Taxpayers 32 million pounds. The Netflix deal is reported to have netted the couple $140 million and the one with Spotify around $25 million.
Harry is reported to have said they “get by”.
How low can you go?

It's easy for politicians, they can spend what they want because somebody else will pay for it – the taxpayers.
Well done Merv & Marg
Nanaimo is still a good place, but the powers that be have let it run to ruin. This is sad to see.
i agree it is the volunteers in Nanaimo that make it such a wonderful place to live. I've lived all over B. C. and came back to Nanaimo to raise my kids and join the family business. Never any regret
Thank you Mr. Peckford for voicing concerns that many Canadians share, but remain silent.
